Services in recent weeks have reminded us: a.) to pray for one another as we pray for ourselves
b.) that God uses trials and tribulations to strengthen our faith and character, which produces greater hope
c.) to remember that God loves and protects His people
Weather conditions reminder: Today's weather forecasts do not show any problems for Sunday. Nevertheless, should winter weather create dangerous conditions, we will alert everyone as early as possible via mass text and our church Facebook page. Please remember to check in with people who may be very vulnerable during cold, ice and snow events.
Short business session: We will have a brief business session Sunday evening 6:00 p.m., February 6, to act on a motion from our church Finance team.
Raising funds for pro life: A table with plastic baby bottles is located in our church lobby with information about collecting funds for pro life work. This effort is receiving support from local Baptist churches across our Beech River Baptist Association area. Please review this display and contribute to this important work.
Toddler Sunday School class: A Sunday School class for toddlers is being formed. Please let Gina Woods and/or Pastor David know if you can help with this worthy endeavor.
Collections and collection plate: We will continue to use our collection box in the church foyer, and will resume use of collection plates in service beginning next Sunday. As a reminder, when winter weather events may cancel a service, your support is still needed.
Lord's Supper February 13: We will celebrate the Lord's Supper during our 11:00 a.m. service on Sunday, February 13.
